They returned to Atkinson Tuesday evening. Mrs. Thelma Radke and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wilson arrived in Atkinson last Saturday from Lake Tahoe, Calif., where Mrs. Radke has spent the past several weeks in the Wilson home. The group also visited other western states before returning to Atkin son. Sandra Frisch returned last weekend from Boise, Ida., where she spent a week visiting at the home of her brother and sister in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Don Frisch and family. When she went to Boise she was accompanied by Ricky and Bob Frisch who had spent their vacation here with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lance Withers and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Frisch. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Parsons drove to Niobrara Sunday to vis it at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Meyer and also at the home of Bill and Frank Pavelka. Hazel Purtzer came from Fre mont last Saturday to make final arrangements for moving her fur nishings to Fremont where she has been making her home. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Dickerson, Butte, also visited in Atkinson with her and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Vic Faust and Dick, left Tuesday after spending a few days in Atkinson renewing old acquaintances in this area. Mr. and Mrs. Faust are now liv ing at Glenwood Springs, Colo. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Pacha returned Monday evening from Denver where they spent the past several days visiting Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Frickel who recent ly moved there. Saturday evening they were dinner gviests of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Ridge in Den ver. The Pachas also visited with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Forbes in Ft. Col lins, Colo. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Smith and grandson, Lavern LeMunyan, re turned home last Wednesday night from Chappell, where they had attended the funeral of Carl’s last surviving brother, Henry G. Smith. The late Mr. Smith has been an invalid for several years i' and was 89 years old on his last . birthday. Funeral services wen held at Oshkosh and burial in the Oshkosh cemetery. Mr. Barnes is a cousin of Mrs. Kaz da and Mrs Barnes is a sister of Chet Anderson. Mr. ami Mrs. Dean Gokie took their small son, Mark Todd, to Omaha early Monday morning where he was scheduled for sur gery at ten o'clock, to correct a stomach distorder. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Cady will arrive next week from Patter son, N. J. to spend a few days visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Kazda. Mr. and Mrs. Willis Petersen and family returned last Friday after spemding a week in Denver and other Colorado points. Carl son of Crofton arrived Monday to spend ten days visiting with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Will iam Wefso. iDr. and Mrs. Carl son flew to 9cottsbluff Monday to attend the State Veterinarian meeting and Wednesday will fly to Garden City, Kan., where they will visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Carlson for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Mitchell spent Sunday and Monday in Mitchell, S. D., visiting in the home of their daughter and fam ily, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Butter field. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Rollout and sons, Jim and Ken of St. Louis, arrived Tuesday night for a two week’s visit in the home of her mother, Mrs. Jennie George.
