The Challenge Today we’re in a crisis-time that challenges the wisest brain, But as we look at early days, our nation has always had times of terrible strain. In Philadelphia during the first convention in 1787 these were moments of terrific tension. They dead lock ed again and again we are told, over questions we still think a trifle old. Sometimes the convention nearly broke up in dispair, fearing no common ground could be found by staying there. Till Benjamin Franklin proposed without warning. Let’s begin every ses sion with prayer each morning, and they did have prayer the very first thing. And God took a hand sweet agreement to bring. No problems too big for His so lution. He'll help us protect our loved constitution, But some will declare this is old-fashion ed stuff. But if we’ll do as they did we’ll see its enough. We need His guidance more than ever before, then American In dependence will last as of yore. As long as we keep God in our national life He’ll keep us free from struggle and strife.
