a visit at Scottsbluff with the
Gale Fix family, and with Mrs.
Mary Sawyer, Mr. and Mrs. Earl
Ward, Bird City, Kan. and Mr.
and Mrs. Claude Sawyer, Good
land, Kan.
Mrs. Alice Prewitt accompa
nied Mr. and Mrs. Max Dixson
and Kent to Seattle, Wash., to
visit Mr. Dixson’s sister, and also
attend the World’s Fair.
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Baker,
Casper, Wyo., visited Mr. and
Mrs. Arthur Hiatt. Paul and I
Gene last week, and also called
at the Floyd Adams, Blake Otts
and Edgar Petersons. They were
old schoolmates of Mr. Baker.
The Bible school program held
Thursday evening was attended
by a good crowd. Lunch was
served at the annex after the
meeting. There were 15 pupils
enrolled. Margaret Jamison. Lin
coln. Carolyn Bristol. Aurora.
Mrs. Edith Andersen, Joyce Wat
son and Joyce Doolittle had
charge of the classes.
Mr. and Mrs. Tenus Madsen
and Neal are attending the
World’s Fair. They have also
visited her sister and husband,
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kenny,
and her brother and family, Mr.
and Mrs. Ivel Thompson near
Sedro Woolley, and other rela
tives enroute to Seattle.
Sadly Landrum, Atkinson, spent
this week with Mr. and Mrs.
Blake Ott.

more were weekend guests of

West Point, and then went on to
Council Bluffs. Ia., to attend a
Genung family reunion. Sunday.
They also visited Mrs. Black

entered Veterans’ hospital. Irvin
Forbes accompanied them and

Gene Carr was surprised Thurs
day evening when neighbors
came to help him celebrate his

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Medlin,
Plainview, were visiting her par
ents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Doolittle,
and other relatives the past
week.
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Bailey have
completed their school terms in
Omaha and her father, Glenn
White, drove to Omaha Tuesday
in his pickup to bring their house
hold goods home. They recently
bought a trailer home from the
Harvey Hansens and have it
parked at the White’s. They will
return to their schools in Omaha
next term and will move their I
trailer home there.

received word Munday evening
of the death of her niece’* little
hoy in a farm accident. The
family, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis
Iteekman, lives near lloldn*ge
and funeral services were held
at Holdrege Wednesday. Mr.
and Mrs. Johnston attended the
funeral.
