Sunday evening callers of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Greenfield were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wewel. Jerry Heyne, Casper, Wyo., spent the weekend with his par ents, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Heyne. He retured to his job Monday. Mrs. Bill Hoffman, Naper, vis ited in the afternoon with Mrs. Alberta Hoffman and at the Har old Butler home. Sunday supper guests of Mrs. John Steinhauser was Mrs. A. G. Thoene, Hartington, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Steinhauser and family. Mrs. Thoene came for her daugh ters, Sharlene and Susan, who had spent the past 2 weeks with their grandmother, Mrs. John Steinhauser. Father’s day dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Vic Kaup and fam ily were Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Kaup and family and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Greenfield. They al so helped Judy Babl celebrate her birthday that was June 18. Saturday evening callers cf Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Engler, who came to visit Mr. and Mrs. Leo nard Engler and boys were Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Straka and fam ily. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Ru dolph and family, Chapman, were weekend visitors of friends and relatives.. Father’s Day dinner guests of Mrs. Lottie Keidel and David were Mr. and Mrs. George Kei del and John Steck. Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Holmes, Mrs. Conrad Hardie, and Peggy Carlton, Fort Pierrce, Fla., arriv ed last Thursday morning at the Stan Cobb home to spend a 2 week visit in and around Stuart with relatives and friends. Mrs. Stan Cobb, Mrs. Mary Wallinger, Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Holmes, Mrs. Conrad Hardie, were Monday overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Mueller at Pickstown on their house boat. Mr. and Mrs. Terry Cobb and family. Grand Island, spent the weekend visiting Mr. and Mrs. LaVerne Clements and LaVeta and Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Cobb. Maureen Coufal accompanied Sandra Van Norman, Bassett, to Lincoln Tuesday. They attended the Girl’s State Reunion Banquet that evening and returned Wed nesday. David Dobrovoiny helped Lyle Davis celebrate his 6th birthday June 18. David spent the after noon and was a overnight guest at the Davis home. Picnic supper guests at the Marion Davis home Sunday eve ning were Mr. and Mrs. Jim Da vis and family and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Kohie and family. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Davis and family were Father's Day dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Walnofer, Atkinson. Phyllis Ziska, Norfolk, Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Weber and family were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. William Ziska. Phyllis had just returned Satur day from a two week’s vacation and visit to the World’s Fair. Phyllis traveled by bus, visit ing Blck Hills, seven northwest ern states and Canada, where she visited the cities of Victoria and Van Couver. She was accom panied by Sharlene McCuthen, Battle Creek and Karen Teidtke, Omaha. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Timmer mans, Fort Collins, Colo., return ed to their home after having spent a week visiting Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Timmerman and Lois. Glenrose Timmerman, Chadron, and Joan Timmerman, Omaha were also weekend guests. Other Sunday evening callers were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ankney and Rodney. Mrs. Jack Winship and daugh ter, California and Mrs. Win ship’s mother, Mrs. Fred Bathel, Fort Scott, Kan., visited from June 7 until 9 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Cadwallader.
