Miss Spitzenberger was grad uated from Mount Marty college, Yankton, 8. I>., and has taught the past two years in the Norfolk public schools. I)r. Roehl, son of Mrs. Clem Roehl, Wayzata, Minn., attended St. John’s University and was graduated from the University of Minnesota. He is assistant pro fessor of psychology at Wayne State Teacher’s college and as sistant chief psychologist at Nor folk State hospital. An August wedding is planned. Keri Lynn, 7 pounds 1 3/4 ounces, May 23. WOEPPEL — Mr. and Mrs. Russell Woeppel of Ewing, daugh ter, Ann Marie, 6 pounds 14% ounces, May 25. WALLEN — Mr. and Mrs. John Wallen jr. of O’Neill, son, 6 pounds 14 ounces, May 29. O'Neill Locals Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wilson and son, Jim, spent the weekend in Creston, la., visiting Mrs. Wil son’s mother, Mrs. J. P. Daughton and other relatives. The Wilson’s son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hoffman and daugh ter, Marie of Storm Lake, la. joined them there for the week end. On Thursday evening Mrs. Wil son’s nephew, David Da'ughton and two companions visited here. The trio were enroute to Yellow Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Michaelis, Inman, announce the engagement of their daughter, Sharon Kath ryn, to Lonnie A. Breiner, Inman, son of Mr. Alden Breiner. Sharon attended Inman public school and plans to attend the Personnel Institute at Omaha. Lonnie formerly attended O'Neill public school and is now employ. ed at Fuller’s Gravel Co. No wedding date has been set. ANNOUNCE ENGAGEMENT Mr. and Mrs. Lumir Richty. Leigh, announce the engagement of their daughter, Barbara, to Delano Scholl, the son of Mrs. Edith Scholl, Ewing. Miss Richty is a graduate of the Leigh high school in the class of 1962. Mr. Scholl who served three years in the U. S. Army, several months of which were served in Germany, is now engaged on his acreage in north Ewing in hog raising. A September wedding is plan ned. stone Park, Wyo. and to attend the World’s Fair in Seattle, Wash. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ziska, Atkinson, were Sunday visitors in the Marvin Ziska home. Mrs. M. C. Tipton, Waverly, and H. H. Tipton, Seattle, Wash., mother and brother of Mrs. Paul Fetrow arrived Saturday to visit until Wednesday in the Fetrow home. Also spending the weekend at their home were Mr. and Mrs. Paul B. Fetrow, Omaha and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Fetrow from Nor folk. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Grenier and Mr. and Mrs. Don McDermott, Sharlene and Lonnie spent Fri day on business. They visited Mr. and Mrs. Joe Fritz while in Nor folk. Delta Dek Mrs. Henry Lohaus entertained Delta Dek bridge club in her home Tuesday evening after a dinner in the Town House. Mrs. Merlin Simpson was a guest. Chaffin-Hoffman Rites Held Thursday In Atkinson Church Baskets of pink peonies and spi raea decorated the altar of the Wesleyan Methodist church for the 7:30 p.m. candle light wed ding of Frances Loraine Chaffin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo nard Chaffin, Atkinson, and Bruce Ray Hoffman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Irl D. Hoffman, Reece, Kan. The Rev. Charles Phipps of ficiated in the double ring cere mony May 25. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of bridal satin with fitted bodice and scalloped neckline. It was but toned down the back with tiny lace-covered buttons. The waist line dipped to a V in the back. Long sleeves tapered to tradition al bridal points. Nylon net edged in alencon Lice graced her floor length bouffant skirt with lace inset and was caught in gathers and fastened at the side with a white rosette. The fingertip veil was held in place by a crown of lace trimmed seed pearls and sequins. She carried a cascade of white camellia and pmk sweet heart roses on a white Bible, a gift of the bridegroom. Mrs. William Vaughn was mat ron of honor and Edith Chaffui was bridesmaid. They wore iden tical gowns of Nile green taffeta with net head pieces and wore corsages of pnuc carnations. Kay Summerer was flower girl accompanied by Mark Hoffman. Candlelighters were Linda Chaf fin and Linda Jones. Wallace Hoffman served as best man and Fred H. Hoffman was groomsman. W. E. Jones and Charles Chaffin were ushers. Sharon Schaaf, soloist, sang "Wedding Prayer” and "The Lords Prayer”, accompanied by Mrs. W. E. Jones. A reception was given by the bride's parents in the church par lors for 150 guests. Phyllis Lewis presided at the guest book and Mrs. Leonard Goldfuss and Mrs. Richard Klinger took care of the gift table. Servers were Cheri Summerer, Georgia Mellor, Su san Stephens and Karen Jones. The Rev. and Mrs. Elmore Blain were hosts. Mrs. Russell Hiipke poured. The four tier wedding cake was baked by an aunt of the bride, Mrs. Robert Summerer. The cake j was surrounded by five small! sweetheart cakes at the base. After a wedding trip to the Black Hills the couple will make their home in Pratt, Kan. Waunetta Wragge Weds Ara Hague In Clearwater Rite Waunetta Wragge, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Wragge and Ara K. Hague, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willis G. Hague were united in marriage May 20 in a 2 p.m. double ring ceremony in the RL DS church in Clearwater. The' Rev. Willis G. Hague officiated in the double ring ceremony. Mrs. Ellis Shrunk, soloist, was accompanied by Linda Moore. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white bal lerina length dress with satin bo dice featuring a scalloped neck line with sequins. The net skirt featured scallopes trimmed with sequins. Her finger tip veil was caught in a crown of sequins and pearls. She carried a corsage of. pink roses on s whit* Bible, a gilt of the bridegroom. Mrs Leon Allemang was mat ron of honor. Her dress was pink with lace of the same color.
