Mrs. Kubart had a long bout with the flu earlier th s spring and did not get her strength back and there fore went into the hospital for a complete check-Up. Jim and Ed won two seconds and two thirds in the feature and heat races and Mrs. Brotsky placed first and Mrs. Schmuecker third in the powder puff race. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Wahl drove to Valentine last Sunday where they were dinner guests of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Haas and Bryan. She had spent sometime last week with her sister in Randolph, where she attended the gradua tion exercises of her nephew. Tabitha and her sister returned to Randolph Sunday evening.
