After she finishes her education she will return to her homeland to teach. Miss Chieu was a Friday overnight guest of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Beelaert. A coffee was held in her honor on Saturday morning in the Beelaert home. Among the guests were Mmes. Merwyn French jr., Larry Heiss, Robert Van Horn, Robert Prill, Frank Beelaert, John Sum mers, Dale and Marvin Stauffer, Norman Trowbridge and Miss Donna Crumly. She was a Sat urday night and Sunday guest in the Larry Heiss home, returning to Lincoln with Myrna Heiss on Sunday afternoon. I WSCS MEETS WSCS held their regular meet ing Thursday afternoon preceded by Rev. Linder giving the study lesson “The Meaning of Suffer ing", in the morning. There will be one more session on this read ing on April 26 at 10 p.m. Ray mond Heiss had the devotion and lesson in accordance with the Easter season. Mrs. Harold Kelly was the pianist. It was voted to send $8 towards Mrs. Copeland's trip to India. The fund has been started so she can accompany her husband. It was ann >unced that the May break fast will be on May 3 and the senior tea on May 7. Election of officers was held with Mrs. Jessie Kelly being elected president. They ail returned to the church where several of the mothers served breakfast. Roll call was answered by telling of the, "Biggest mistake made in Sewing”, it was announced that a dessert smorgasbord will be held at the Legion club in O’ Neal May 3. Each club will do nate two desserts. It was reveal ing day with Mrs. Lorenz Riege, Mrs. Dale Matschullat and Mrs. Ben Asher being guessed. HOA Club HOA club met Tuesday with Mrs. Homer Rutherford. All mem bers but one were present. The club will send a case of eggs to the Nebraska Children’s Home. The members did their own fan cy-work.
