Kelly, Fremont, spent the week
end visiting her parents, Mr and
Mrs. George Fullerton. Her bro
ther, Don Fullerton and wife are
also visiting here from Haw
thorne, Calif.
Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Berry en
tertained their pitch club Friday
evening. Those present were Mr.
and Mr*. Marvin Doolittle, Mr.
and Mrs. Stanley Thompson, Mr.
and Mrs. Dean Prewitt and Mr
and Mrs. Charles Everett. Mr.
and Mrs. Thompson were high
score winners, with Mrs. Dean
Prewitt and Marvin Doolittle the
low scores.
Mrs. Elsie Doolittle, Jimmy,
Denny and Micky, Stuart, visited
at the Marvin Doolittle’s Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pierce at
tended the open house honoring
the 50th wedding anniversary of
Mr. and Mrs. William Jutte at
Chambers Sunday afternoon.
The Helping Hand club met
Thursday at the home of Mrs.
Vera Paddock, Atkinson, with her
mother, Mrs. Charles Peterson as
hostess. There were twelve mem
bers present. After dinner the
meeting was called to order by
Mrs. Elmer Coolidge. Each mem
ber had been requested to bring
an antique and much enjoyment
came from viewing these pieces.
Scrap Books to be be given to
hospitals was also a project. Each
member furnished pictures for
these books. The May meeting
will be with Mrs. Frank Pierce.

Mr. and Mrs. Bob Blackmore
and family, North Platte, visited
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ber
nard Blackmore over Saturday
night, returning home Sunday
evening. They also visited her
parents, Mr. and Mrs Asa Wat
son, Joyce and Sharon.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Adams, Lin
coln, and their daughter and fam
ily, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Grant
and 2 sons, San Andias, Calif,
were Sunday guests of Mr. Ad
am's sister, Mrs. S. C. Barnett
and Mr. Barnett. The Glen
Whites called in the afternoon to
visit with them.
Leon Skala and his daughter
in-law, Mrs. Gene Skala and
daughter, Kelly, Fremont, came
Tuesday and visited relatives un
til Thursday. Mr. Skala visited
his daughter and family, Mr. 1
and Mrs. Marvin Doolittle, Ricky,
Rodney and Timm. Mrs. Skala
and Kelly visited her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. George Fullerton.

to Omaha by plane and was met
there by Mrs. Irvin Forbes and
Donna. Boots was enroute to Mis
souri to attend a convention for
the company by which he is em
ployed.

panied Mr. and Mrs. Raymond
Bly to Atkinson Tuesday where
she visited her mother, Mrs. Ro
sa Snelson and her sister and
family, Mr. and Mrs. Charles
McMiilen.
Mrs. Lew Backhaus helped
Mrs. Bert Waldo with some
spring house cleaning Friday.
Mrs. Larry Kennedy, Tammy
and Shauna, Riverside, Calif., ar
rived Saturday and are visiting
at the parental M. B. Kennedy
and Mrs. Alice Prewitt homes.
Mrs. Gertie Adair and her bro
ther, Sam Gilman were supper
guests Saturday evening with her
son, Bob Adair and family.

Dick were dinner guests Sunday
