There were 18 present. Hiram Johnson met his mother, Myrtle Johnson at Grand Island early Wednesday morning. She was returning from an extended visit to the West coast where she visited her brothers and daugh ters. Myrtle spent Thursday at the home of Delia Harrison and returned to O'Neill Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Devall and Kathryn visited at the El mer Hull home. Lynch, also call ed on Dave Jensen at Lynch hos pital Wednesday evening. Tjesday evening visitors at the Walter Devall home were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Woidneck and Bill Devall, Spencer, and Mr. and Mrs. Ro bert Young, O’Neill. The Paddock Community aid met Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. George Hansen, O'Neill. Fifteen members and 2 visitors were present. Next meeting to be with Mrs Vem Harding, O’Neill, May 2. Debbie 9terns was an after school and supper guest of Linda and Jeanette Woidneck Wednes day. The mothers and children of school District 27 surprised their teacher, Twila Hicks, on her birthday by arriving at 3 p.m. Wednesday with the birthday cake and all the trimmings. Twi la received an electric clock as a gift. Mr. and Mrs. Loyal Hull were Thursday evening visitors in the Marion Woidneck home. Bonnie Johnson and Diane De vall from District 1, Larry Nel son and Kathryn Devall from District 27 and Delmar Pmker man, District 38, plan to take the 8th grade exams to be given at the Court house in O’Neill Mon day afternoon. Martha Johring and Henry Storjohann were dinner guests at the Roy Goeke home, Atkinson, Thursday. Monday night supper guests at the Merlin Anderson home were Mr. and Mrs. Allen Walters and boys. Mrs. Oswald Drueke, Connie, Bart and Douglas were Sunday afternoon visitors at the Donald Hynes home. Mr. and Mrs. Veldon Pinker man and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kamphaus and family were Thursday evening visitors ui the Carl Krngti bom*. The Grew Thumb Flower club met at the home ut Jim McNulty* Tuesday. A basket dinner was held in the church parlors of the Assem bly of God church Sunday honor ing the Carl Hallgrunson family who have recently moved to the community Mrs. Dave Jensen was a din ner guest at the Paul Nelson home Tuesday and Marjorie ac companied her to the hospital in the evening. Wednesday Martha Johring went with her to Lynch liospital. Thursday Elsie accom panied Mrs. Sam Robertson, Christine Johnson and Mrs. George Nelson to the hospital and Mrs. Selina Hebner was a sup per guest. Saturday Dave Jensen came home from the hospital and is slowly improving. Mr. and Mrs. Dewayne Anson I and girls were Thursday evening! supper guests at the Roman Fil- j ips home.
