The Everett Green family moved to the farm vacated by the Fuhrers, while the Dallas Ullrich family will live on the farm vacated by tiie Greens. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Nagel have returned to their home af ter they accompanied his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Russel Nagel, on a trip to Al buquerque, N. Mex., where they visited with the Russel Nagels’ son On their return they stopped at Hastings to visit with another brother, Walter Nagel. •lulius Serr visited with Mrs. Tillie Munderline at the Winner hospital last Sjndayj On his way home he stopped at the Burke hospital to visit Orville Vance and Ray Duerfeld. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Faatz were brought to their home Thursday from Sioux Falls, S. I). Mr. F'aatz had minor sur gery in the Sioux Valley his pital iind was hospitalized for eight days. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Herrmann took her father, John Stahlecker, to Omaha Wednesday, where he will consult the doctors. Mrs. Henry Holmgren was brojght home Wednesday from the O’Neill hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Art Frasch and daughters, Butte, were Friday evening visitors in the Albert Faatz home. Mr and Mrs. Harvey Davis were Friday supper guests in the Max Higgins home to help their granddaughter, Paula, celebrate her birthday. The Bears' last home game of Basketball Friday night was lost to Wooillake. The A team lost by one point, 58-59, while the B team l<»st 23 47. Con Sattler underwent minor surgery in the Burke hospital February 14. Monday evening visitors in the Alvin Scheonefeld home to help them celebrate their anniversary were Mr. and Mrs. Claus Sieh and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Stah lecker. DIX Home Extension club meeting was called to order by Mrs Glenn Allpress at the home of Mrs. Jim McLaughlin Thurs day evening. Mrs. George Alex ander jr. resigned and Mrs. Glenn Allpress took over the presidency. Reports were given by the card committee. It was decided that Mrs. Harley Nicalous will ■ take care of cards and Mrs. Marlin Carstens will be the music lead er. Civil defense and increase membership were decided as ne club goals. They also de cided to sponsor a representative to Boy's State. The group was ad dressed by State Sr. Vice Com mander, William Gailbraith Beemer, and District 2 Com man der, Don Kramer, who met witl State Commander, Eugene Kur kowski, Grant, at Atkinson tha evening. The Celia teacher, Larry Hayes, drives from Atkin son a distance of about 12 miles, Mrs LeKoy Hoffman drives ap proximately 8 miles and Mrs Emil CoMack drives quite a dis tance also. All have held classes every school day since the storm started.
