Sunday evening will be the first
session of the annual church-wide
school of missions at the Page
Methodist church. The commis
sion on missions has an inspiring
program planned for the last
three Sunday evenings in Febru
ary and the first Sunday evening
in March with a film related to
the lesson each evening, devo
tions and a social hour. A Latin
American exhibit is planned for
the Junior church children in
conjunction with their study of
the book “Three Children of
Chili”. Those in charge of the
lesson on Brazil and Uruguay
this Sunday will be Mrs. Norman
Trowbridge and Mrs. Ivan Heiss.
A film will be shown and the
seventh and eighth grade classes,
taught by Mr. Neven Ickes jr.,
will have the devotions. The
King’s Daughters will be in
charge of the social hour. The
public is invited to attend.

At the sale last Monday we sold over 500
cattle and 500 hogs.
The top on butcher hogs at $17.55 and
went to Leland Finley of Orchard. All the good
light hogs brought over $17.00.
The cattle market was very active and
looked a good $1.00 higher on all classes. 480
lb. steers up to $30.00. Light weights up to
$32.00. Had a lot of b u y e r s and could have
used more good cattle.
There has been a lot of people asking when our ANNUAL
COMBINATION SALE will be held. It Is the first SATURDAY IN
APRIL.
