Seven members and one visitor were present. The year books were filled out. A surprise "pink and blue” shower was giv en in honor of Mrs. Bob Sanders. The place of the next meeting is to be decided later. Wednesday evening guests at the Sam R<*ertson home were Mr. and Mrs. George Nelson and family. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Walters and Norma and Christine Johnson. The occasion marked Lduise's birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Bennett Devall brought their baby home from the Lynch hospital Friday. He now weighs six pounds. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Fox and Marlene, Mrs. Carrie Hood and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fox and family, Spencer, and Mrs. John Truman were supper guests Mon day evening at the Del Truman home, Bristow. The occasion marked Harold’s birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Ander son and girls were supper guests Monday at the Allen Walters home* and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Woeppel and Paula Jo, Ewing were Tuesday evening supper guests. Robert Anson, Newport, was an overnight guest Saturday at the Dewayne Anson home. His par ents, Mr and Mrs. Orland Anson and family, came for him Sun day. Mr. and Mrs. Garold Risor and family, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kaczor and Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Hubby were Friday evening sup per guests at the Elmer Kaczor home at Spencer. Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Rouse and Ralene were callers at Ne ligh Monday. Bill Hoban, North Platte, son in-law of Delia Harrison, was an overnight guest and visitor at the home of E. Devall and Mrs. Harrison Thursday inght. Mrs. William Langan and Mrs. Lloyd Johnson went to Lynch Sat urday to see Mrs. Agnes Johnson, Bristow, wbo was admitted to the Lynch hospital Friday. Tom Langan, Fort Carson, Colo., son of Mr. and Mrs. Will jam Langan, arrived home Sat urday. He was met in Grand Is land by his wife. Mr. and Mis. Dewayne Anson and girls and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Robertson were Thursday eve ning guests at the George Nel son home. The occasion marked Mrs. Nelson’s birthday. The oc casion was a delayed birthday party for Harold Fox and Eu Krnci Storjohann. Mr. and Mrs. Don Rich and children, Dakota City, were ov ernight guests at Allen Walters Saturday night and at Delbert Rouses Sunday night. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Hall and girls, Estherville, la., were week end visitors at the home of his mother, Mrs. Viola Hall, and his sister, Mrs. Lawrence Dobrovolny and family. Sunday dinner guests at the Ted Crawford home were Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Miller and fam ily, Mr. and Mrs Bernard Miller and family and Mr. and Mrs. Orville Miller and family. It was a belated birthday celebration. Ted Crawfords have received word from their daughter, Mrs. Earl David. Riverton, Wyo. She reports the weather was 48 degrees below zero and ne ver above zero for two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hornby and family were Sunday visitors at the Delbert Rouse home. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Devall were Sunday visitors at the El mer Hull home at Lynch and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Devall and Diane were supper guests Sun- 1 day evening at the Walter Devall home. Mrs. Rosa Bowers came Fri day to assist her daughter, Mrs. Marion Woidneck, with the house work. Linda Woidneck has been on the sicklist the past week. Mrs. Bowers returned home Tuesday. Mrs. Martha Johring and Hen ry Storjohann were Sunday din ner guests at the James Karel home. Mmes. Quite a few families from this community attended the wedding of JoAnne Searles and Larry Wyatt Saturday in O’Neill. John Schmitz went to Omaha Sunday for a medical check-up. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Johring and family and Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Johring were Monday eve ning supper guests at the Mar tha Johring home. The occasion marked Henry Storjohann's birth day. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lindberg and Tillie Schwindt were Sunday dinner guests at the Hal Rosen krans home. Mrs. Lloyd Whetham, Belle Fdurche, S. D., wasn’t going to be ednied the privilege of wish ing her father, Ted Crawford, a belated happy birthday.
