Goldenrod club met recently at the Steak House, Atkinson, for a Christmas party with a gift ex change. The hostesses were Mrs. Orville Hitchcock and Mrs. Ray Elder. The next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Robert Martens in January. Mrs. Helen Mullen and Mrs. Larry Schaffer, O’Neill, and Ruth Harris, New York City, called on Mrs. Georgia McGinnis Thurs day afternoon. Miss Harris is a niece of Mrs. McGinnis. The Leisure Hour pinochle cl'ub met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Hitchcock December 17. The members revealed their “mystery sisters” with a “grab bag” exchange and drew names for the coming year. Prizes were won by Mrs. Joe Judge, Mrs. Leon Beckwith, Len Ullrich and Eli McConnell. The next meeting will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Beckwith January 7.
