Doretta Roth Weds Jerry Bauer in Lutheran Ceremony ATKINSON — Baskets of red roses decorated the altar at St. John’s Lutheran church in Atkin son Sunday, Dec., 10, for the wedding of Miss Doretta Roth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Roth, Atkinson, and Jerry Bauer Valentine, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Bauer, Alliance. The Rev Emil Kuelui officiat ed at the double ring ceremony at 2:30 p.m. Miss Donna McClurg was organist and she accompan ied the vocalists, Mrs. Pat Krtimm and Earl J. Collins. A wedding gown of scalloped Chantilly lace cascades over tul le was worn by the bride. It was floor length and fashioned with long lace sleeves. She carried a cascade of red roses. Miss Donna Humphrey was maid of honor, and she was at tired in a full-skirted taffeta dress covered with red net. She carried a white fur muff and wore a matching white fur headband. Richard Bauer, Alliance, serv ed his brother as best man. Seat ing the guests were Marvin Bau er, Alliance, and Ivan Roth, Va lentine, brother of the bride. Cynthia Roth and Robin Roth were flower girl and ring bearer respectively. After the ceremony, a reception was held in the church basement and was attended by approxi mately 150 guests. Miss Mary Lou Zirnig, Valentine, cut and served the cake. The Misses Mar cella Zirnig and Lenna Fernau, Valentine, were the servers. Mrs Bryan Martens and Miss Mona Ra Randol had charge of the gift table. Mias Judith Gana preaided at the guest book. The bride is a graduate of At kinaon high school and has been employed in Valentine. Mr. Bauer is a graduate of Al liance high school and i* em ployed by Frontier Airlines at Valentine. Announce Marriage AMELIA — Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Esther Clemens, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd “Doc" Clemens, Salome, Ariz. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Levi Clemens, Amelia, and lived in Amelia at one time. Lou Ann Stahlecker, Dennis D. Heerman Exchange Vows NAPER — The wedding of Miss Lhi Ann Stahlecker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Stahlecker, and Dennis D Heermann, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alnard Heermann all of Naper, was performed Sat urday, Dec. 2, at St. Paul’s Lu theran church in Naper. A 6:30 p.m. double ring cere mony was performed by the Rev. Kenneth Strack. Mrs. Virginia Ah lers was organist, and vocalists were Miss Iona Carstens and Clarence Meyer. The bride wore a white baller ina gown of acetate satin, fash ioned with a sweetheart neckline accented with simulated pearl beading. The molded bodice end ed in a sweeiring skirt which was enhanced in back with three sa tin rosettes. She carried a white Bible centered with a red rose arrangement. Maid of honor was Miss Donna Ahlers, and bridesmaids were .Miss Karen Gentele and Miss Lin da Ahlers. They wore red velvet sheath dresses with red chiffon overskirts, pillbox hats to match and white muffs with red and white carnations intermixed. Jerry Heermann served as his brother’s best man. Brothers of the bride were groomsmen and also served as ushers. Vicki Stahlecker, and Valorie Stahlecker, both of Wood, S. D., were flower girl and ring bearer, respectively. A reception followed in the aud itorium and was attended by 250 guests. Mrs. Paul Shierk, O’Neill, and Mrs. Ed Stoltenberg cut and served the cake. Mrs. Alfred Stahlecker, Omaha, poured cof fee and Mrs. Florence Zeisler, Butte, served punch. Mr. Corkle attended St. Mary’s academy, an Omaha high school and Creighton uni versity. He is presently engaged in the hatchery business with his father. The couple is planning a fall : wedding.
