Ned Kelley and Keith Kivett, students at Wayne State Teach Regular Sale MONDAY, DEC. 4 Sold over 700 cattle and 700 hogs on the sale last Monday that was steady on the cattle and a little lower on the hogs. The hog top was at $15.55 and went to Lionel Gibbs of Clearwater. Swift and Company bought them and they went to the West Coast as a good many of the hogs. We had 6 major buyers to assure you of the most dollars possi ble. In the cattle market we had light steer calves up to $32.50 and 490 lb. calves up to $30.00. Sam Regans string of 545 lb. steers sold at $27.10. Heifer calves up to $28.50. Ask someone who has sold livestock with us and you will understand why you get more dollars. We have the buyers. Will have a nice sale next Monday but can use a lot more t>oth cattle and hugs to supply the demand.
