Fletcher gave some of her original poems on ■ ‘Thanksgiving Bridge met with Mrs. Gordon Drayton Thursday afternoon. Pri zes went to Mrs. J. W. Mahood, Mrs Gurney Drayton and Mrs. Lester Wither. The next meeting will be with Mrs Gail Bordie No vember JO. Mrs. G. Drayton serv ed a lunch. Mrs. Harry Holbrook sr. and Mrs J. W. Mahood were Norfolk visitors Tuesday. Mr and Mrs. C. A Wiclcman, Grove tie, Ark., spent two weeks visiting in the Willard Scherer home. Lloyd Holliday attended the John Deere meeting at Sioux Fulls, S. D.-Tuesday. Mrs. Zoia Herring, Royal, was a Sunday guest in the Keith Thelander liome. Harold Pospeshil, Sioux City, la., visited his mother, a few days last week. W B. Dorsey News Ity Mrs. Harold Osborn Is Given Medical Aid For Burns from Coffee Mrs. Marvin Richter was tak ent to St. Anthony's hospital Tues day where she received medical attention for a burn on her thigh. Hot coffee spilled on her when she was carrying it and a lunch to the men who were working on the place. Visitors at the Howard Slack home Sunday, Nov. 12, were Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Wells and family, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wells and boys, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Wells and family. Mr. and Mrs. Will iam Conard, William Wells and Donna Van Meter. Mr. and Mrs. John Babl and family called at the Harold OS born and Marvin Drobny homes Monday evening. Mrs. Howard Graham and Mar lyn attended Miss Helen Hal stead’s shower Tuesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Barta and Evelyn were O’Neill visitors Sat urday. Mrs. Paul Drobny is caring for Mrs. Marvin Drobny’s children who are ill from colds. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Ruzicka were visitors at the Marvin Ru zicka home, Little Carol Ruzicka was celebrating her birthday. Mrs. Edward Carson is show ing improvement at this time. I She spent several days in b«-d at home with traction treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Willis Butterfield are spending a few days with their son, Douglas and family on the west coast. John Derickson was a caller at the Bill Farrand home Mon day. Guy Pinkerman cabled hay for Edward Carson Friday. Friends in this community have received word that Hal Rosen krans had been in a car wreck. They learned he wasn't injured severely. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Brady drove up to the Marvin Richter home Monday evening to see how their daughter was after her burn injury.
