AC2 and Mrs Hill Martine and son, Omaha, returned to their home Sunday Mrs. Martine had spent the past two months at the home of her pari nts, Mr and Mrs. Dwame Ulrich Bob and Art Holman, Mrs. Jim Hofiman and Danny, Mrs. Joe Wallinger and 'ieuiie spent Saturday and Sunday at Omaha visiting Jim Hoffman. Mrs. Joe Wallinger and Teddie were Sat urday overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Wallinger and son. Mrs. Jim Hoffman, Danny, Bob and Art were Saturday over night guests of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Stracke and daughter. Darlene Hoffman, Lincoln, also came to visit Jirn Hoffman and was also a guest of the Strackes. Mrs. Herbert Young and Mark spent frvun Wednesday until Sun day at the home of Mrs. Young s father, Kmil Johnson at Colon. Kay Johnson accompanied Mrs, Young and they attended a Sy nod youth rally Thursday eve ning in Omaha where a th >usand Nebraska young people were in attendance. Sunday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Alois Schmaderer were Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Schmaderer, O'Neill. A “get acquainted” party was held Sunday evening al the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alois Schmader er by the neighbors for Mrs. Jerry Schmaderer. The evening was spent visiting. The Sand Creek Improvern nt club an I ot hers presented Mr. and Mrs. Jer ry Schmaderer with gifts. Lunch was served at the close of the evening. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. ami Mr;. Her!) Mr. and Mrs. lion Myers’ son, Jercme Allyn, was baptiz ed Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Tom Mchoberg serving as g«ul parents. Mr. and Mrs. Torn Srlioberg, O’Neill were Sunday dinner guests, Jerome Allyn is improving satisfactorily after being at Childrens Memorial hospital in Omaha with a blood disorder. Weekend guests of Mrs Eisie Sweet were Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Sweet and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Montgomery. Casper, Wyo. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Montgomery, Valentine and Clarence Sweet, Grand Island, were Sunday guests. Donna Stollman, Omaha, and Connie Coufal, O’Neill, were weekend visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Coufal. The birthday women met Octo ber 25 and October 29 at the homes of Mrs. Andy Moss and Mrs. Gus Obermire. The after noons were spent playing games. The self-invited guests at both parties served lunches. Mrs. Gus Obermire, Jeannie, Cheryl, and Brenda visited Mrs. Mary Henning at the Bassett Nursing home Sunday. Saturday overnight guests at the B b Cadwallader home, visiting Patty and Danny Cadwallader, were Rigor, Sheryl, Jim, Kenny and Neil Cadwallader, Gordon. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Johnson were Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Hoffman and girls. Sunday evening callers of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Johnson were Mr. and Mrs. Earl Cadwallder. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Batenhorst entertained three tables of card players Sunday evening at their home. Prize winners were Jim Davis, Mrs. Johnny Kramer, Mrs. Louie Shald and Louie Shald. The next party will be with Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Kra mer in three weeks. Emmet And Community Dolores Tuiiender Mike Schaaf Receives Discharge from Army Mike Schaaf received his dis charge last Thursday from the army reserve at Fort Gordon, Ga. He spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Schaaf and family, returning to Omaha Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Marcellas and family called at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Soukup, O’ Neill, Wednesday night. They were also dinner guests of the S.tikups Sunday. Deimie Schaaf has spent the weekend with hi3 grandmother, Mrs. Joe Ramold sr.
