Members of the Atkinson Civic Improvement Garden club spent Saturday afternoon scatter ing seed and setting plants in and around the state park west of town. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Smith at tended the regular sale at the Burwell Livestock market last Friday. Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Runnels, Stuart, were Monday evening callers at the William Wefso home. Mr. and Mrs. Art Pacha went to Lincoln Saturday to spend the weekend with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Mike McKay. They returned home Sun day evening. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Richardson went to Plainview last Sunday to spend the day with his sister, Mrs. Bessie Peterson. They re turned home Sunday evening. The Bakers Dozen Extension club members met Monday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Kramer with 11 members and three guests, Mrs. Lawrence Kramer, Mrs. Helen Carroll and Mrs. Leo Heinsoki. The latter two were added to the member ship list of the club. The lesson was given by Mrs. Lance Wit hers. A special prize was won by Mrs. Lance Withers.
