Harold Harris The Thank Offering service, held annually at the United Pres byterian church, was conducted Sunday during the worship hour, sponsored by the Women's Mis sionary society. The guest speaker was Martha Temple, a registered nurse and medical missionary from Cameroun, West Africa. Her description of the people and their environment in dicated the need of teaching health and sanitation in their homes. Ina Bennett conducted the service assisted by Mrs. Ralph Shrader, Mrs. Willie Shrader, Mrs Wayne Shrader and Mrs. Ora Switzer. The collection of $144 was taken by Mrs Lionel Gunter, Mrs Williert Napier, Mrs Ralph Shrader and Mrs. Willie Shrader. A special musical selection was given by a choir composed of members of the Society. The MYF group of the Ewing Methodist church attended a dis trict rally at Spencer Sunday af ternoon. The theme of the meet ing was "Stewardship.” The Ew ing group were in charge of the closing devotionals.
