president, Mrs. Donald Green,
presided. Mrs. W. H. Crawford:

the District II meeting held re- j
cently at Pierce. The secretary |
was instructed to order 600 pop
pies, also to write for the hos
pital assignment. The rehabi
litation chairman was instructed
to make the usual “Tarlatan
men” for the Veterans hospital.
A committee was assigned to see
about articles for the gift shop.
Mrs. Raymond Walter, Mrs. Ed
w-in Hubbard and Mrs. Donald
Green were chosen to accompany
the group to O’Neill for County
Government Day. Several mem
bers plan to go to the Veterans
hospital m Grand Island Thurs
day for a party. After the close
of the meeting the hostess served
lunch.
The Womans Society of
Christian Service met Thursday
at the Methodist church with 22
