Neal Stoecker Family Spends Leave from Navy with Relatives Mr. and Mrs. Neal Stoecker and daughter, Vicki, Oakland, Calif., are spending their leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Stoecker at Amelia, and with her parents at Valentine. Neal had completed his four-year ser vice in the navy, but has been "frozen" f<ir another year. He will receive about a month's leave. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Widman went to Sioux City, la., Sunday afternoon to visit their daughter, Marcia, who is in college there. Mr. and Mrs. Morris Burley, Omaha, visited Mrs. Lindsey and Florence Wednesday morning en ruute to their home after a vis it with relatives and friends at Norden. Both families lived at Norden several years ago. Mrs. George Fullerton, Mrs. Vern Sageser, Mrs. Ernest John ston and Mrs. Lew Backhnus were among the WSCS members attending the Seminar meeting at Page Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Clem ens and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Porter, Chambers, went to Omaha Friday to visit (he Clemens’ Infant son, Todd Allen, who was taken to the Omaha hospital earlier in the week. The little one has a heart defect. The baby was fine and able to come home with them. Mrs. Jetta Madsen visited the Lindseys Wednesday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Anton Svatos were business callers in Ewing Wednesday.
