ing.
Mrs. Althea Peterson has mov
ed from Neligh to her residence
in southeast Ewing, and will .
make her home here.
Mrs. Paul Water had as her ,
guests Saturday afternoon at the
home of her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Lyle Dierks, Mrs. John ,
Blumel and daughters, Marie No- <
vak and Delores Patach, all of
Omaha. The women are former I
college classmates of Mrs. Water.

Paul Water and Douglas were O’
Neill visitors Wednesday. Mrs. |

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Urban, ac
companied by Mr. and Mrs. John
Honeywell, Chambers, spent last
weekend in Omaha, the Urbans at
the Joe Sinkule home and the
Honeywells at the home of their
daughter, Mrs. Elwin Rubeck
and family. Mrs. Honeywell re
mained for medical treatment.
Raymond Urban, Omaha, visited
last week at the homes of Ed Ur
ban and Vearl Tuttle.
Vina Wood, who spent her two
week’s vacation with her bro
ther-in-law and sister, Mr. and
Mrs. Coe Butler and other rela
tives at Lincoln, is now back at
her home in Ewing.
Mr. and Mrs. Freddie Bollwitt
and son were Sunday guests at

ing Sunday from California to
join Mrs. Water and Douglas at
the-home of her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Lyle Dierks.
Five-Year-old €onnie Turay,
who has been a surgical patient
at an Omaha hospital for sev
eral weeks, came home Satur
day to spend a week with her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Tn
ray. Visitors Sunday at the Yu
ray home were her grandpar
ents, Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Hobbs.
Dr. William H. Ross went to
Yankton, S. D., Monday where he
had a physical check-up.
Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Harris
spent Sunday at Plain view visit
ing their daughter, Bertha Har
ris, and friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Neal Scheer,
Dodge City, Kan., have been
guests at the parental home of
Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Scheer,
Tuesday, Neal left far induction
in the Armed Service. His wife
remained for a longer visit with
his parents and sister, Faye. Neal
has been assigned to Fort Leo
nard Wood, Missouri.
