In Accident
Wayne Holliday, employed at
the East Side Auto Repair, re
ceived an injury to his left hand
while working on a window
regulator. Four stitches were re
quired to close the wound.
Mr. and Mrs. Glen Miller re
turned home last week from an
all-expense paid vacation to New
Orleans, La. There were around
360 insurance men and their
wives staying at the Roosevelt
Hotel. The Millers traveled
through eight states doing a lot
of sightseeing. On their return
home they saw the Lt. Louis
Cardinals play San Francisco
Giants at Bush Stadium in St.
Louis, Mo.
Mr. and Mrs. O. H. Anderson
and daughter, Coleen, Imperial,
were Thursday overnight guests
in Mrs. M. Mahood’s home. Co

with the Fred Spencers.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred 9pencer
and Iris Craig returned August
27 from a three-week vacation on
the West Coast. They visited Mr.
and Mrs. Richard Ridgely and
family near Vancouver, Canada.
On their return to the states they
visited Ronald Ridgely. They vis
ited several days at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Ben Hiatt, Port
land, Ore. They spent sometime
with the three daughters and one
son of the late Erie Craig in San
Francisco. They stopped at San
Luis Obispo, Calif., in the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Freitas,
the former Maria Craig. The Frei
tas are parents of a new baby
boy.
Arden Spencer entertained them
at his home in Los Angeles, Calif.,
•before they started home. En
route they stayed overnight at
the J. B. Richards home in Grand
xomiiu.
Mr. and Mrs. Larry Hull, Man
ning, la., arrived at the Neil
Bjornsen home Saturday evening
and were overnight guests. On
Sunday they were dinner guests
at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Guy
Hull. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hull
and Mr. Doyle Hull were also
dinner guests there. A picnic was
held in honor of Mr. and Mrs.
Larry Hull at the Lynch Park

he has been employed at the
Elsworth Air Force Base. He
has been installing new lights
on the approach to the runway.
He is teaching science and shop
and this is his second year here.
