A former resilient of Holt county, James Seger, 22, Cedar Rapids, la., recently was pre sented a new automobile for placing first in the nation in writing insurance for his com pany, the American Republic In surance company, Des Moines, la. He and his wife, the former Elaine Haynes, Atkinson, also received an all-expense paid trip to Ills Moines. Seger also holds the company record for writing 43 policies in one day and 154 in one week. Seger graduated in 1057 from Atkinson high school. He is the son of Mr. Mrs. Frank E. Seger, At kinson. The Segers have four children. Krugman to Serve As Drive Chairman Bud Krugman, O’Neill, has been selected as district cam paign chairman to assist in the Covered Wagon Council cam paign, Boy Scouts of America, which will be conducted for the raising of funds throughout north east Nebraska. General kick off of the cam paign will be on October 17. A goal of $28,0000 has been es tablished for this campaign.
