Holt County Board Proceedings (Continued from last week) CERTIFICATE OF BUILDING FUND TAX IJ5VY To the County Clerk of Holt County, (Nebraska: To the County Clerk of Wheeler County, Nebraska: We, the undersigned School (Board, of School District No. 115, of Holt County, Nebraska, do hereby certify that on the 16th day of August, 1960, at 8:30 P.M., a special meeting was held in School District No. 115 of Holt County, Nebraska; that said spec ial meeting was called by the school board and notice was giv en as provided in Sections 79-423, 79-503 and 79-504, Revised Statutes of Nebraska, to vote upon a pro position to levy a building fund tax of five (5) mills each year for a period at ten (10) years, be ginning with the tax year 1961, said levy or levies to produce a total amount of $8000.00 to be ex pended for the following purposes, to-wit: The building of a new school house and the equipping thereof, said school house to be erected on real estate already owned by said school district. We have carefully examined all the proceedings pertaining to said meeting and the vote taken on said proposition at said meet ing and are satisfied that all the provisions of the law, especially sections 79-422 and 79-423 have been substantially complied with and that 55% of all the votes cast at said meeting are in favor of such tax. Such propositions and all the proceedings had thereon were thereupon ordered to be entered on the records of said school dis trict and we hereby certify said special tax levy to you and ask that it be levied against the pro perty of said district as other tax levies. RESOLUTION WHEREAS, It has come to the attention of the Board of Super visors that existing appropriations in the County Budget for the year ending June 30, 1961, are insuffi cient to continue the operation of the office of the Soil Conserva tion, and that additional appro priations are required, and that an emergency exists in regard to such anticipated requirements, and that additional appropriations are required to be made for the balance of the fiscal year 1960 to such funds, and that the same are essential to the preservation and maintenance within the county of the administration of justice. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF HOLT COUNTY, that an emer gency does exist as set forth above, and that there is hereby appropriated to the office of the Soil Conservation Office the sum of $75.00 from the General Fund of said County, for the balance of the fiscal year ending June 30, 1961. A roll call vote on said Re solution and the motion for adop tion resulted as follows: AYE: Edw. IN. Flood, M. V. Landreth, Clarence Ernst, Waldo Davis, Harlan Dierking, Walter Smith and Eli McConnell. NAY: None. Whereupon the Chairman de clared said Resolution duly pass ed and adopted this 30th day of June 1961. Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved as read. The forenoon was spent work ing on the budget. 12:00 Noon. On motion the Board adjourned until 1:00 P.M. O’Neill, Nebr July 11, 1961 1:00 P. M. Holt County Board of Supervi sors met as per adjournment. All members present. Bids were opended on Room Air Conditioners for Courthouse and Annex. After examining the bids, motion was made by Ernst, seconded by Davis that the bids be tabled until after bids havo been submitted for the wiring of building. Motion by Dierking, seconded by Davis that the following Reso lution be adopted. Motion carri ed. RESOLUTION OF EXTENSION OF COUNTY LEASE AGREE MENT RESOLVED, that the County Lease Agreement entered into by District No 5, Holt County, with the Construction Service Equip ment Co., of Omaha, Nebraska, dated the 2nd day of May, 1960, covering the rental of One Ad ams Model 660 Motor Grader, serial number 66c ^4896, powered by a Cummins H-6-BJ Diesel En gine, serial number 235229, mounted on 14.00 x 24 12-ply Gen eral Tires, and equipped with a 12’ x 3/4” Power Shift Mold board, 2’ LH Moldboard Exten sion, power steering, cab with top and safety glass enclosure, defroster fan, heater, electric hour meter, lighting equipment, ether starting aid, windshield wiper, air cleaner extension, adopted by the County Board on the 16th day of May, 1960, and which was filed with the County Clerk the 16th day of May, 1960, as provided by law, be extended in full force and effect, as orig inally executed and adopted by Holt County, for a period com mencing on the first day of July, 1961 and continuing to the 30th day of June 1962. RESOLUTION FOR COUNTY LEASE AGREEMENT RESOLVED, that Holt County enter into a County Lease Agree ment with FEHRS TRACTOR & EQUIPMENT COMPANY, of Om aha, Nebraska, for a period com mencing on the first day of July, 1961, and ending on the 30th day of June, 1962, on the following equipment: On Allis Chalmers HD-ll-B Tractor, S/N 4173, Motor No 11 4092, Model 11-BDS Cable Dozer No 3013 and 261 PCU No 1009, upon the terms and conditions in a proposed draft submitted and considered by the members at said Meeting, and I further certify that the within County Lease Agreement was executed by the County Board at the Comi ty Court House of Holt County, and that the same was signed by a majority of the members of said County Board.
