here One hundred guests were
present. The room was decorated
in colors of blue and white, and
garden flowers decorated the
brides table. Mrs. Rodney Charf
was in charge of the gift book,
and the Misses Betty Tinsley and
Sharon Twiss assisted in opening
the gdts. Miss Joyce Anderson
was m charge of the entertain
ment. The bride received many
gifts as well as a supply of gro
ceries. Miss Michael will be mar
ried July 2 to Lomiie Patras, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Patras,
all of Clearwater.
Many from here attended the
Luben-Brandt wedding Sunday at
the Methodist church in Neligh.

weekend at the William Luben
home and with other relatives

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Knapp of
California arrived Tuesday to
spend several days with Walter’s
parents, Mr. and Mrs. William
Knapp, and other relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Howard Luben
were in Omaha on business last
week and also visited at the
Stanley Wo<xi home in Weeping
Water.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Knapp
called on Mr. and Mrs. Emery
Carey Friday evening and were
dinner guests of the Carey’s Sat
urday.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Knapp en
tertained a group of relatives at
dinner Sunday in honor of Mr.
and Mrs. Walter Knapp of Cali
fornia.
Hans Nielson is being cared
for in his home, having been
released from Antelope Mem
orial hospital last week. Mr.
Nielson, 88 years old sufferd a
broken hip a few weeks ago.

Little Donovan Alder was taken
to a doctor Saturday and the
child had to have further correc
tion on his neck where he had
recently had surgery. Friends
are hoping that Donovan soon will
be feeling better.
