Prize Floats Announced for Ewing Free Day EWING Prize winning floats in the parade Saturday during the Ewing Free Day celebration were the Christian Mothers of St. Peter’s church, first; the Gamble store, second; Ewing Livestock, third, and the Ewing Co-Operative Creamery,, fourth. A free pancake feed was held from 4 to 8 p.m. and about 700 persons were served. Mayor Jerry Rotherham was the official pancake baker, assisted by Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bergstrom, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Thramer, Mr. and Mrs. Cletus Thramer, Mrs. Jerry Tomjack, Waldo Davis, R. R. Tinsley and Kropp were pitchers for the losing team.
