Incoming patients, visitors, salesmen and everyone with business connected with the hospital, are channeled through this reception of fice. Diane Moeller of Stuart, receptionist, greets the visitors and also handles the telephone board. The modern x-ray room at Si. Anthony’s hospital is equipped with the latest machines. Demonstration is made here of the table used in making x-ray pictures. '"T: a Ronald Partridge of Sioux City, registered technician, comes to St. Anthony’s hospital three days a week to assist with labcratory work. He is shown here as he watches Mrs. Maxine McManus, regular technician, at the microscope in the Hospital laboratory. Soon there will be a modern binocular microscope, a gift from the Hospital aux iliary, which will allow double vision examinations. Mother Frances, St. Anthony hospital administrator, displays the modern surgery room where 1.M9 major surgical procedures and 2,530 minor operations have been performed. The complicated, mo dern equipment used in this room is the best available. Overhead lights, such as these, cost $1,000 and this surgical table cost $2,200. This beautiful chapel is open at all times at St. Anthony's hospital located at the east end of the first floor.
