This was time set for the open ing of bids on liability insurance for county owned vehicles. Hawk eye Security Insurance Company being the only bid, motion was made by Ernst, seconded by Cronk, that their bid be accepted. Motion carried. A petition was filed by Jerome Ruther, asking that the South half mile between sections 28 and 29, Township 28, Range 9, be closed. RESOLUTION Resolved, that Holt County en ter into a County Lease Agree ment with Missouri Valley Ma chinery Company, of 401 North 12th Street, Omaha, Nebraska, for a period commencing on the 26th day of July, 1961 and ending on the 26th day of June 1964, on the following equipment: 1- Used Caterpillar 12 Motor Grader, Ser ial No. 70D988, equipped with cab, heater, lights, defroster, steering booster, wiper, 14:00 x 24 tires, hydraulic side shift, dry type air cleaner and 2’ blade ex tension (New Machine Warran ty), upon the terms and condi tions contained in a proposed draft submitted and considered by the members at said meeting, and I further certify that the within County Lease Agreement was executed by the County Board at the County Court House of Holt County, and that the same was signed by a majority of the members of said County Board. I hereby further certify lhat the budget adopted by the County j for the current year contains an ] appropriation for payment of the j rentals due under and pursuant to the within County Lease Agree ment and that the following: Frank Crank, M. V. Landreth, Clarence Ernst, Harlan A. Dierk ing, Edw. N. Flood, Walter A. Smith and Eli McConnell, are the duly elected members of the County Board of said County and that a copy of the foregoing Lease was filed with me this 16th day of March, at 2 o’clock p.m and duly recorded in the Official Records of this County, as pro vided by law.
