Marvin Vavak of Verdigre was in this community Friday check ing coyote traps. Twenty-three women attended a party at the home of Mrs. Vin cent Jackson on the afternoon of March 22. Games were played and several prizes awared. Mrs. Harry Caskey received the door prize. The hostess served lunch at the close of the afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Lon Pitchier and family visited March 18-19 at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Finch. Mrs. Otto Matscbullat of Page underwent major surgery at the Lady of Lourdes hospital at Nor folk March 14. The family for merly resided in this commun ity. Bob unfortunately lost his right hand in a corn picker accident last November. Bob and Pauline also report their four-year-old daughter. Roberta received two broken fingers while at play with her older brother, Danny. Danny apparently was playing “toss” with a heavy board when it struck Roberta on the hand.
