Baker Secretary 46-49c Auxiliary to Sponsor Hospital Essay Contest Members of St. Anthony’s Hos pital auxiliary voted Monday evening to conduct an essay con test during April on the subject, "What do you think about our Hospital?” Essays should not be over 200 words, and the contest will be open to present and former patients of the hospital who are 15 years of age or over. Essays are to be in before April 30, and winners will be announced and prizes awarded during National Hospital Week in May. The hospital is in need of a binocular microscope for the laboratary and new drapes for some of the rooms. The Auxili ary decided to direct their fund raising projects toward these items. Department of Agriculture s|>ecialistH who will staff the United States exhibit at the International Agri cultural Exhibition to be held March 21 - April 21 in Cairo, Egypt. Reed, the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. K. R. Reed of Orchard, gradu ated in 1921 from the Orchard high school. A veteran of 33 years USDA service, Reed has been with the Tillage Laboratory at Auburn since its establishment in 1935. He worked with the USI)A cotton production machinery project at Auburn for two years before com pletion of the laboratory. Reed arrived in Egypt March 5 and his wife will join him there in April.
