Holt County Board Proceedings O’Neill, Nebr. January 31, 1961 11:00 A.M. Holt County Board of Super visors met as per adjournment. All members present. Meeting called to order by the Chairman. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read. Motion carried. The Finance Committee re ported that the fees of the various county offices have been remitted to the County Treasurer, as required by law. 12.00 Noon. On motion the Board adjourned until 1:00 P.M. O’Neill, Nebr. January 31, 1961 1:00 P.M. Holt County Board of Super visors met as per adjournment. All members present. Motion by Cronk, seconded by Flood, that the following war rants be cancelled. RESOLUTION APPROVING DEPOSITORY & SECURITIES WHEREAS, the following named banks have made applica tion for the privilege of being designated as depositories of the monies of this county. Tri-County Bank, Stuart, Nebr. First National Bank, Atkinson, Nebr. O'Neill National Bank, O’Neill, Nebr. First National Bank, O’Neill, Nebr. Farmers State Bank, Ewing, Nebr. Chambers State Bank, Cham bers, Nebr. First National Bank, Omaha, Nebr. WHEREAS, all of said banks have deposited certain securities of character and form required by law, for the safety'of any and all public monies deposited in said banks by said county, or its duly elected and acting county treasurer, and WHEREAS, said securities have been deposited in escrow in the manner and form as pro vided by law, and WHEREAS, these banks have agreed to abide by all of the provisions of the law with re spect to the deposit of public monies. NOW, THEREFORE, I move you that the above named banks be designated and named the depositories of the public monies, and that the Treasurer of Holt County, Nebraska, be, and he hereby is authorized and em powered to deposit the public monies now in his hands or here inafter to come into his hands as such treasurer, in the above banks, in the manner and within the limits provided and pre scribed by law, making deposits in the Holt county banks first and only depositing the surplus that the Holt County banks can not take care of in the First National Bank of Omaha, Nebras ltd.* Roll call on adoption of the foregoing resolution was as fol lows: Ayes: Dierking, Flood, Smith, Cronk, Ernst, McConnell; Nays: None. Holt County Board of Super visors met as per adjournment. All members present. Meeting called to order by the Chairman. Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved as read. Motion was made by Ernst, seconded by Dierking that Dis trict No. 4 be given permission to trade for a used motor grader, with new guarantee. Motion car ried. Motion by Cronk, seconded by Flood, to adopt the following re solution. RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the preliminary agreements and detailed plans for the construction of Project No. S63 (3) have been completed, and WHEREAS, the plans for this work have been presented to this board for approval, and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Supervisors of Holt County, to proceed with the actual work, and WHEREAS, the Board of Super visors have sufficient financial resources either in services and work to he performed, or in cash, to defray their entire share of the cost of the work, and WHEREAS, the county has secured all right-of-way and material pits, necessary or re quired for the proposed work. NOW, THEREFORE, in con sideration of these facts the County Board takes the following official action: Be is resolved that the plans for Project S63 (3) be approved, and that the Chairman be authorized to sign them to signify such approval, and further that the Chairman be authorized to sign this resolution in behalf of the Board.
