Milford high school auditorium at
Milford May 31. Mrs. Hughes ac
companied Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Ruzicka to Norfolk and from
there she loft by bus to Lincoln
where she was met by friends.
Rodriek plans on coming home
for the summer to help his par

The 1961 Alumni banquet was
held Monday night in St. The
resa’s Parish hall with women of
the church serving the dinner to
150 guests. States of Oklahoma,
Wisconsin, South Dakota, Mis
souri, Iowa and Nebraska were
represented. The theme, “At The
End of the Rainbow” was carried
out in decorations and program.

of 1903, gave the invocation, her
son, James, class of ’42, followed
with the welcome, and his son,
Ricky, class of '61, gave the re

Eugene Neal, Mrs. Dana Sisson
and Mrs. Oscar Gretchman were
program participants. Classes
honored were of 1896, of which
one member, William H. De
Camp, was the eldest guest pre
sent, and other honor classes
were 1911, 1921, 1931, 1941, 1951
and 1961. The business meeting
was conducted by Mrs. Marjorie
McCammon. Officers in charge
were, Dorothy Snider, Clarice
Chart, Marjorie McCammon,
Sharon Snider, Joan Moser and
Joyce Anderson. New officers for
the 1962 year are Donna Sanne,
Carol Knapp, Norma Wilcox,
Navonne Haake, Janel Sisson and
Murna Stevens.

It was a pleasure for your cor
respondent to attend the 30th
anniversary of the graduating
class of ’31 of which her husband
is a member. The event was at
Neligh although the class at time
of graduation numbered in the
30’s only eight of them were able
to be present for the reunion, but
the enthusiasm made up for the
lack of numbers. Many came
from a great distance, and a
member from New York, unable
to attend, telephoned long dis
tance and talked to each member
present.
Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Hoffman
are the parents of a daughter,
9 lbs. 2 oz, bom June 1. in the
Tilden Community hospital. The
Hoffmans have two other child
ren, boys Douglas and David.
