Clearwater Is now displaying about $400 worth of new Christ mas decorations. A large neon star on the flag pole greets us from the north and shows Just as brightly from the south. Twelve street light poles are wearing boxed In Illumination decorations and a showy gar land Is strung on the lower part of the street lights. Santa has promised to visit the young sters here December 17. Mr. and Mrs. Clint Miller of Ainsworth spent the weekend vi siting friends and relatives here. Mrs. Emmet Mummert is In Omaha where she was summoned to serve on the Federal jury at that place. Mrs. Eldon Ber gen had charge of the devotion als and lesson. The members finished up their sewing for Christmas for the Orphan's Home in Council Bluffs. Missionary letters were read. Mr. Art Frasch returned home from the Burke hospital where he had been a patient for a week after being injured when his clothes were caught In the tractor power-take off. Jim Schultz arrived her Sat urday from a visit at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Her man Schultz. He had spent the past summer and fall months at Nome, Alaska, and was enroute to Miami, Fla. for the winter. Inman News By Mr*.
