U Carpenter Mr and Mrs Milan Welke and children of Ewing, Mr and Mrs Robert Scott of O'Neill and Mr and Mr* Duane Carson of Cham bers were Sunday guests In the Harry Scott home Mr, and Mrs Lewis Vander snick and family of Ewing were Sunday guests of Mr and Mrs. I-eon Hertel. Mr and Mrs Jim Ringle and Kame of Omaha came Tlmrsday to visit her parents. Mr and Mrs E. M Jarman Mr, Ringle returned home Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Ben Blair and family, accompanied by their nephew and a friend, all of Oma ha came to spend the past week end with his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Blair. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Messenbrink and daughters of Fremont were weekend guests of her parents, Mr, and Mrs. Vem Wilkinson. E. M. Jarman made a trip to Wood Lake Saturday to bring cattle home from pasture. Rill Clnnser of Wood I.akc came Saturday to help Everette Jar man Mr. and Mrs. Earl Widden of Bonesteel, S D., visited his mot her, Mrs Whidden. and brother in-law and sister, Mr, and Mrs. Ralph Blair Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Ijeon Hertel en tertained at a dinner Sunday in honor of the birthday of their twin daughters, Mrs. Cecil Clouse and Mrs. Bus Clouse. Others present were the ladies husbands and children. Mrs. Helen Clouse of Bartlett and Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Covey of Chambers. Kermit Grimes of Sacramento, Calif., is visiting his brother and sister-in-lnw, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Grimes and Gerold and brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Newhouse and other relatives and friends. Forty-seven relatives gathered at the Municipal Hall at Creigh ton Sunday for a family reunion The occasion was in honor of Mr and Mrs Henry Davis of Fern dale. Wash. Those attending from Chambers were Mr and Mrs. W H. David, Mr. and Mrs. Earl David and Arliss Wright Mrs Davis is a sister of Mrs. W. H. David She and Mr Davis will be visiting at Chambers this week Mr and Mrs. Glenn Burge and family visited her uncle and aunt, Mr and Mrs Harold Jones at Clearwater Sunday. Mrs. A. B. Hubbard spent Sun day with her brother and sister in-law, Mr ami Mrs. Chancey Porter in O’Neill. Norma and Janet Wintermote accompanied their grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Thorin home Saturday. On Sunday their par ents, Mr and Mrs. Lloyd Winter mote, drove over to get them Mr and Mrs. Clarence Damme and family visited in the Ernest Thorin home at Bartlett Sunday evening. Mrs. Verna Scheer of Chino, Calif., is visiting her brother and sister-in-law, Mr and Mrs. Rich ard Burtwistle and her sisters. Mrs. Charles Fauquier and hus band and Mrs. Edd Trennaoohl of Chambers, Mrs Maude Brion of Neligh and other relatives and friends. Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. John Wintermote were Mrs. Wil burn U’hmann. Mrs Edd Harvey and Mr. and Mrs. Guais Winter mote. Mr and Mrs. E. R. Carpenter were Sunday dinner guests of their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Stevens and family of Atkinson. Mr and Mrs. John Koinzan of Bartlett were Monday callers at the Rev. Cox home. Rev. Bob Under of Page and Rev. Charles Cox started the Evangelistic visitation Monday in the Amelia area. Mr. and Mrs. Edd Coday learned of the death in a tractor accident of his brother, Hugh Coday in Minnesota, Friday. The funeral was in Atkinson Tuesday.
