These prospective turkey dinners (some 32,000 in nil) are being grown at the farm of Mr. and Mrs. Don Robinson who live four mile s northeast of Inman. But, while these birds are being prepared for the Thanksgiving feast, the birds are also doing a bit of feasting. It takes about eight tons of concentrate and 300 bushels of oats and corn a day to fee d this many birds. Ac cording to Mr. Robinson the actual cash outlay per lay is aliout $1,000 not counting other incidentals. Mr. and Mrs. Robinson have not only raised turkeys but have worked in poultry slaughtering and packing plants. Mr. Robinson has been in this type of work for twelve years and Mrs. Robinson for seven years. Lynch News The annual Lynch parade will be Friday at 2.00 p.m. The Lynch football team will play Niobrara at 8:00 p.m. The Lynch high school band will perform at half time. The senior class is spon soring a dance at the Lynch ball room with the Mullen Family pro viding the music. The crowning of the King and Queen will be at 11:00 p.m. in the ballroom. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Bone and sons, Bill and Jim, came from Lincoln Friday night to attend the football game in Lynch between Lynch and Verdigre. They were overnight guests in the Albert Schindler home returning to Lin coln Saturday morning. Nancy Kotas from Fort Collins, Colo, returned to Lynch Thurs day and is making her home with Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Lee and attending high school in Lynch. Mrs. Frank Weeder held a Stanley Party at her home Tues day morning. Mrs. Pete Mulhair and Mrs. Frank Weeder called at the Jun ior Wilson home in Verdel Thurs day afternoon. Mrs. Pete Mulhair was a Thurs day evening guest in the Phyliss Mulhair home in honor of Danny Mulhair’s birthday. Mrs. Frank Stinger was a co fee guest of Mrs. Mary Mulhair Thursday morning. Wayne Turner was injured in a car accident Monday evening and he was taken to the O’Neill hospital. He was released from the hospital Friday afternoon and is staying at the Howard Miller home. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Smith of Page brought Mrs. Jessie Cronk and Mrs. Anna Smith to the Ho ward Miller home Thursday eve ning for a few days visit. On Fri day Mr. and Mrs. Howard Miller took Mrs Smith and Mrs. Cronk to Plainview and from there they went to Page and left Mrs. Cronk at her home.
