The Democrats have gotten away with ever-increasing spend ing by trying to make the public think that the "rich'' are going to pay the increasing taxes. How ever this is not true. The wealthy are already hit for up to 90% of their income there is not much more obtainable from them. Rather, it will be those in the low and middle income brackets who will be hit for the taxes if the Democrats are elected. Hansen In California Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Clausen have been informed of the death of Mrs. Thomas Hansen sr., Saturday at San Francisco, Calif. Mrs. Hansen has been ill for the past few months and had been hospitalized for two weeks at Letterman hospital where here daughter, Major Harriet Hansen is stationed. Funeral services for Mrs. Han sen were held Monday at the Gray Mortuary at San Francisco. Cremation followed and the ashes were sent to Tilden to be buried by the grave of her husband who died in 1949. Mrs. Hansen is also survived by a son. Thomas jr., of Van Nuys, Calif. The Clausens and the Hansen family have been close friends for many years. Last year the Clausens visited Mrs. Hansen and her daughter in Hawaii.
