Mr. and Mrs. Benny Thurlow moved back to Stuart from Penn sylvania. Mrs, Earl Cadwallader was a Saturday overnight guest of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Appleby. Mr. and Mrs. Engler visited at the Mel Engler home and returned home Saturday night. Tuesday afternoon friends and neighbors surprised Mrs. John Friedel with a birthday party. She received many gifts and the self-invited guests served a lunch. The family of Mrs. John Friedel surprised her Tuesday evening with a birthday party. Those pre sent were Mr. and Mrs. Larry H.’mik and family, Mr. and Mrs. Don Moss and boys, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Friedel and family and son Freddy. Mr. and Mrs. George Minnig visited D. and M. Mining at Hast ings college over the weekend. They saw the new dorm where D.m stays and were able to at tend the Hastings-Huron, S.D. football game. Huron won 24-21.
