Mr. and Mrs Henry Pfiffer drove to Sioux City Tuesday to meet their daughter, Rose, who is home from the University of Florida for her vacation. She is currently working on her Doctors Degree at the University. Mrs. Pat Langon and Tommy Angel left Tuesday for Minne apolis, Minn., to visit at the John Angel home before Tom leaves for an assignment in Okinawa with the U. S. Navy. Mr and Mrs. Fred Fuhr left Tuesday for Rapid City, S D to visit several weeks with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Glass. As a part of Orchard’s program, Ann Fletcher gave two original poems. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Everhart attended the Ray Payne funeral at Elgin Monday afternoon. Mr. Payne was a nephew of Mr. Ev erhart’s. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Weiting were Norfolk visitors Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Weiting and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Butter field visited Niobrara and ferried across the river to S. D. Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Everhart returned from Sergeant last week where they had been visiting their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Everhart.
