Mrs. Dave Pollock visited Sat ijrday morning at the Howard Miller home. Last Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Johnston and the Archie Johnston family were dinner guests of Mrs. Emily Johnston honoring Ralph on his birthday. The Billy Lofquist family vis ited in Scottsbluif on Thursday The Busy Hands 4-H club held the achievement picnic supper Tuesday evening, £k*pt. 13 at the church annex. They had their parents and grandparents as guests. Harold and Dale Fink came Wednesday from California to vis it at the Bert Fink home a few days. On Saturday they left for their home in California. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Fink and Mrs. Char lotte Lord accompanied Harold and Dale from Grand Island. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Retke of In man are staying at the Bert Fink home and looking after the chores. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Mott, Shar on and Tammy, Dean Pofahl, Teddy Hagemoser, Mrs. Leo Mil ler, Ellen, Melanie, Becky and Joan, Mr. and Mrs. Andy Welke and Bonnie, the Lorraine Mont gomery, Chet Taylor, Melvin Scheer, John Miller and Lester Bergstrom families were guests Tuesday evening at the Elmer Williamson home. Mrs. Lionel Gunter met her sis ter, Mrs. Alice Proctor in Or chard on Tuesday afternoon. They called at the Harold Scbwager home. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Napier and Carol Ann left Wednesday afternoon for their vacation, spending the night in Fremont. They went on to Kansas City where they will visit friends over the weekend. The Riverside Free Methodist Missionary Society met at the church Thursday afternoon. The ladies also had a tea towel show er for Mrs. Ernest Chambers. Mrs. Melvin Napier and Mrs. Walter Miller, members of the Seek and Share project club went to Neligh Wednesday morning and took the club lesson on “Better Meals for Your Money.” The Jerry Cuddys and Walter Donohoes of O’Neill visited Wed nesday evening at the John Na pier home. Mrs. Raymond Schmidt, Wil mer Mosel and Lionel Gunter called on Martin VanConet Thurs day evening. Mrs. Alfred Napier helped Mrs. G. D. Ryan entertain the United Presbyterian Missionary Society Thursday afternoon at the church annex. Mr. and Mrs. Ward Hender son visited at the Howard Miller home Thursday afternoon.
