BRIDGE CLUB The Bridgett Bridge club met Friday evening with Mrs Shirley Erb Sherry Hill won high and Mrs Marvin Haswell won low. September 9 meeting will be with Glenda Walton. Mr and Mrs Raymond Stevens returned last wee* from a tour of the western states. They at tended a Postmasters National Convention at Sacramento, Calif. They visited relatives at Oakland, Salem, Ore., Estes Park, Colo., Colorado Springs and Boulder, Colo. They were gone about a month. Mrs. Carrie Williamson is vis iting in Norfolk with Mr. and Mrs Eddie Williamson. Mr. and Mrs. H. W Block and Mrs. Josephine Grueling attended the wedding of Gary Groeling and Clarice Lou Malchow, August 28 at Hebron. While there they visited the William Harwood home. They vis ited Mr. and Mrs. Charley Dix on at Portland and Mr and Mrs. Jay Kent and Mr. and Mrs. Clif ford Meisner at Albany, Ore. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Rice and family of Evanston, 111., have been visiting Mr. Rice’s mother, Mrs. Mary Rice the past week. Mrs Fern Magers of Brighton, Colo., visited in the Gerald and Forest Maple homes the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Reed are visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. R. Reed at Orchard and Mr. and Mrs. James Conway of O’Neill. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Carpenter re turned Friday to Orchard after spending the summer at Greeley College.
