Mr. and Mrs. Veldon Pinkerman and Veldeen and Marina Christen sen were supper guests of Mrs. Mary Tomlinson Thursday eve ning and they all attended the ballgame between Orchard and O'Neill that evening. Fair, reports a total of 874 entries in that field alone. It is the must ever recorded. Alderson on Sun day, August 14th and on Tues day morning they accompanied Mrs. Margie Sammons to Tilden to attend the funeral of Guy Al derson. There were 90 members and 12 visitors pre sent. Thirteen births, five marria ges and one death were recorded. Mrs. Russell Anderson was pre sented a gift for keeping the re cord books. A picnic dinner was held at noon. Mrs. Ellen Filsinger was the oldest member present, and M. Good was the youngest. Plans were made to meet again the second Sunday in August of 1961.
