The Cozy Comer Club met

day for a letter carrier’s conven
tion in Indianapolis.

church park last Monday night.

in Omaha Sunday.

and Kathryn Weber.
Mrs. Viola Parks of Page will
return to the grammar depart
ment. Mrs. Grace Thomsen will
return to the intermediate room.

band students during vacation

word Friday that her father, Al
bert Johnson of Plainview. had
been Suddenly stricken with pneu
monia and rushed to the hospital.
The aged man had recently been
the victim cf a shght stroke and
had recovered sufficiently to be
able to walk down town.Mr. and
Mrs. Weber went to Plainview
Saturday evening to see her fa
ther.

cyclone the previous Friday . One
man was killed in the storm.

Gerald, expects to be married

soon. The family was employed
