The Rev. Hugh Dowler of Spencer officiated at the double ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bowers of Bris tow. The bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Ed Havranek of Spencer. Wedding music was played by Mrs. Eddie Dean Danielson. Mrs. E. P. Cook of Omaha sang, “At Dawning”, “Because" and "The Lord’s Prayer” accompanied by Mrs. E. A. Chore, pianist. Tho church al£ar was decorated with bouquets of white and orchid gladioli. The bride, escorted to the al tar toy her father, appeared in a floor length gown of deluster ed satin and Chantilly lace. The fitted bodice was styled with a jeweled lace scalloped sabrina neckline and bridal sleeves. Lace was appliqued on the .bouffant skirt which fell into an aisle wide train. Her illusion veil was caught in a ie-wetovl hat. Thp hridnl h>n quet was a cascade arrangement of deep orchid and white chrysan themums and feathered carna tions. M"s. Larry Bowers of Bristow, sister-in law of the bride, was the matron of honor. iMiss Rose mary Johnson of Omaha, a cou sin of the bride, and Miss Cathy Cook of Omaha were brides maids. They wore identical vi olet organza ballerina gowns with low necklines, shirred bodices and gathered skirts. A darker violet velvet cummberbund accented the waist. Larry Bowers of Bristow, bro ther of the bride, was the best man. Leonard Kqpecky and Gary Schmidt, both of Spencer, were the groomsmen. Ushers were Harold Dean Johnson of Omaha, a cou sin of the bride, Rodney Pearson of Spencer, Rady Classen of Lynch, a cousin of the bridegroom and Ronald Connot of Spencer Kerry Havranek, nephew of the bridegroom, was the ring bearer. The bride’s mother wore a green lace over taffeta dress with a pink hat. The bridegroom’s mother wore a navy blue dress with white accessories. They each had a pink carnation corsage. A reception was held in the church parlors. The wedding cake was cut and served by Mrs. Louis Scheinost and Mrs. Lester Pear son. Mrs. Evelyn Boettcher and Mrs. Allen Hargens served the punch.
