Ewing News By Mrs. Harold Harris Softball Games Draw Crowd At Ewing The softball games Sunday af ternoon at the Ewing Park at tracted the attention of a large c”owd. Approximately 200 were present. The first game, married ladies vs. high school girls, was won by the ladies, 5-3. Mrs. Floyd (Pat) Butterfield and Mrs. Alex (Joyce) Thramer were the pitchers for the win ners and Mrs. Greg (Luclle) Thramer caught. Other mem bers of the team were Mrs. John (Barbara) Pruden, Mrs. Don (Elaine) Rurocde. Mrs. Gary (Ruth) Tessmer, Mrs. Dean (Beverly) Pofahl, Mrs. George (Mina) Keller, anil Mrs. Jerry (Janet) Tomjack. Bertha Harris and Mary Ann Bauer were pitchers for the high school team, and Myra Rother ham was catcher. Other members of the team were, Karen Tuttle, Mary Thra mer, Donna Wright, Kay Berg strom, Betty Wright, Sandra El liott, Karen Mlnarik. The farmers and ranchers lost their game to the town team, by the score of 15-14. George Keller and Jerry Rotherham was the catcher for the winning team.
