Stuart News By Mr*. Herb Sk*l» Hamik Family Reunion Held At Stuart A Harmik family reunion was held Sunday at the Frank Ham ik sr . home. Those present were Mr. and Mrs A1 Hamik, Linda, Tommy. Kathleen, Pat and Mike and Kelly Steven of O’Neill, Mr and Mrs Frank Hamik jr. of Lincoln, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Will ard, Lee Ann, Lori, and Lesa of Kearney, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Hamik. Brenda, Gregory and Al icia Rose of Redmond, Wash., Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hamik, Donna, Kenny, Danny, Linette, Mary Ellen, Bobby and Brian, and Delores Hamik of O'Neill. Mr and Mrs. Frank Hamik jr. of Lincoln spent the- weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frtnk Hamik, sr. and visiting ot her friends and relatives. A birthday party honoring Doug ie Shald on his 4th birthday was held Sunday at the Stuart park with 14 guests present. The after noon was spent swimming. Joe Coufal returned to Atkin son where he has been staying at the Leo Kramer home since July 22 when his foot was in jured whi'e working at the Blue Grass yard. He will be on crutch es for several more weeks. Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. F~ank Wilson were Mrs. John Stuifbergen of O’Neill, Lewino Blinn of Norfolk and Maude John ston of Valentine. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wilson left Monday for Kearney and North Platte to visit relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Blake and Mrs. Ethel Blake, all of Ainsworth were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Louie Shald. Mr. and Mrs Aloys J. Kaup, sr. accompanied by Joe Kaup sr. went to West Plant to attend the funeral of Mrs Tony Fisher, a cousin of the Kaups. Kev and Mrs. Vernon Harley, Wanda, Pauia, N a then, Eidor, Johnny and Jimmy arrived Monday at the Kasper Harley home to spend some time visiting relatives. They visited Mrs. Vernon Harley’s relatives. Rev. and Mrs Vernon Harley left Monday for Milwaukee where he is to attend a conference. Mr. and Mrs. Mike J. Rozen dale and grandson, Tommy Gerch of Sioux City, la . accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Kaup sr. went to the Black Hills, from Wednesday to Friday They at tended the Passion Play at Spear ikh, S. D. On their way home they came through the Badlands and stopped at White River, S. D. and visited with their friends, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Georgeff and Mrs. Vet Reichard. Robert and Joyce Lauby of New Jersey were Friday overnight guests of Glen and Carolyn Ul rich. Carolyn Ulrich accompanied John Shaid to Presho, S.D., where she will spend several weeks vis iting Mr. and Mrs. Gib Shaid and family. Glen Ulrich was honored Sat urday afternoon at the park with a birthday party for his ninth birthday with 20 guests present. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Hamik and family of Redmond, Wash., arrived Wednesday to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hamik sr. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Willard and daughters of Kearney arrived Wednesday to visit until Sunday with relatives and friends at Stu art. Sunday dinner and supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Don Cad wallader and family of Bassett were Mr. and Mrs. Leo Slachetka, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Colson and Joyce and Mrs. Bob Cadwallader and children. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Komock and family spent the weekend in Wisner for a combination busi ness and pleasure trip. Mr. and Mrs. Edd Stewart and Mickie and Mrs. Goldie Clark, Council Bluffs, la. were visitors in the Ben Asher home Thurs day. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Terrill went to Lincoln last Friday to get their daughter, Marilyn and Faye Rutherford who have been attend ing the University of Nebraska this summer. The Terrills were overnight guests in the home of their son, Jerry and family. They were accompanied to Lincoln by Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Blezek and son and Mrs. Owen Parks, who visited in the Paul Robinson home. Owan Parks went to Lincoln Sundry. He was accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Allen Haynes who will visit their son Roy and fam ily. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Blezek, Lois Jean Parks of San Diego, Calif, and Mrs. Parks returned with him Sunday evening. They were all weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Robinson and fam ily.
