Her mg and grand daughter Kathy King went to Nor. folk Sunday morning to the Air port where Miss K.ig boarded a plane for Los Angeles. Mr and Mrs. Burch went to the home of their daughter, Mr. and Mrs Laurence Fyer and family where a birthday dinner had been prepared for Rita Kay, the youngest daughter Kenneth Eyer went by plane from Norfolk Sunday to Santa Monica to the home of his mo ther, Mrs LaiIu Eyer Sessions, whose husband died a few weeks ago Mrs Sessions sustained a bruised leg when she fell during the winter and for some time had to wear a cast. A meeting ai the Orchard Live stock 4-H Chib was held Friday evening at the home of Mr and Mrs Herman Ennen with 11 mem bers present. Families belonging to the Club are Vernon Riege, Lester Johnson, Bernard Schacht, George Hamil. Kermit Montgom ery and Herman Ennen The topic fur discussion was the care of dairy calves, which is the club project. The meeting of the club will be at Bernard Schacht's Aug 14. The club meets once a month with the serving of lunch following te meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wetoer, Mr and Mrs. Dale Weber and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Clar ence Bittner and Susan Marie attended a picnic in Norfolk Sun day at the home of Mr and Mrs. Eldon Barnhart honoring Mrs. Darlene Weber, sister-in-law of Clarence Weber. Nolan Rundquist accompanied hi* parents, Mr. and Mr*. Glenn Rundquist. to Monroe Sunday to visit hh mother'* aunt. Mrs. Ernest Harris. In the afternoon the men went fish ing and H was Nolan who caught the big fish, a 16 Inch cat. while his dad hooked one 3 inches long. Nolan, aged 16, declared that the fish must not be clean ed until he had taken it to Roy al for grandpa (C. E. Rund quist) to see! Mr. and Mrs. Neal Darr and children, who had been visiting Mrs. Darr’s parents, Mr. and Mrs W J. Reefe in Royal, and Mr. Darr's mother. Mrs J. R. Jenkinson of Verdigre, left for home in Denver Sunday. While visiting in Verdigre, the daughter, Cheryl, fell while attempting to mount a horse and received a cut on her head which required six stitches to close Mr and Mrs. C. E. Rundquist were Sunday dinner guests eg Mr and Mrs Clarence Thomsen and family. Mrs. Zola Henng returned Sun day morning from a ten day va cation trip to Powell, Wyo where she had taken her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Willard F Anson of Orchard, to visit his mother and sister, Mr. and Mrs John Mus ser. Walter Beutier was the guest at honor Thursday evening at a birthday party Present were the families of Clarence Weber, Her man Ennen, Everett Johnston, Truman Kirby and Alvin Reinke. Truman Kirby received word from his sister, Mrs Maude Fre- | lsht im of Tacoma, Wash, that her son Robert died as the re sult of a fall, the details of which were not given Survivors are a wife and two daughters. Mrs. Feisheim is remembered here as Maude Kirby, who grew to ma turity in this vicinity and who has often visited in Royal. Mrs. Edna Johnston took her Sunday school class to Creighton for an outing Sunday. Swimming plans were interrupted by the closing of the pool because of the storm, and a religious picture show was substituted In the group were Lanny Williby, Albert Kiefer, Bruce Meisner, Dean Dra goo, Glenda Thomsen, Marlene Rader, Jerry Peterson. Mylon Fil kins and Joan Peterson. Mrs. Truman Kirby accompanied Mrs. Johnston as sponsor. Mrs Edna Johnston, accompan ied by her grandsons, Bruce Meis ner and Bobby Johnston, went to Ree Heights. S. D. last Monday and visited several days at the home of her son, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Johnston. Home Tour Seventy-five ladies gathered at the Community hall Thursday af ternoon for a short briefing, by Antelope county Extension agent Robert Ehlers before the group began the tour of four of the new homes in the Clearwater territory. Mrs. Harold Bearinger and Mrs. Verlon Furstnau were the com mittee in charge. Homes toured were those of Alvin Tinsley, Her bert Spahn, Fred Nolze and Ber nard Trease.
