Rev. and Mrs. Charles F. Cox called at the Howard Pitzer home north of Ericson Saturday after noon of last week. Fifty friends and relatives of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Grimes surprised them at their home Sunday night, July 3 with a charivari. The crowd went to the John Lee Farrier home after vi siting the Grime's and insisted on "treats'' there too. The following Wednesday night another group from Page charivaried the Grimes a second time. Mr. and Mrs. Ben W. Medcalf and family of Minneapolis, Minn , arrived in Chambers Sunday for a few days visit in the E. H Med calf and E. R. Carpenter homes. Bob and Kathy Medcalf will re main here for a months visit. The Martha community south east of Chambers held their an nual Fourth of July celebration with a good attendance and a well planned program.
