Mrs. Axel Borg's family of six j children have all taken on the [ responsibility of home life and raising a family of their own. Mrs. Burs, a grandmother w#th 13 grandchildren, wax a little skeptical at attempting the new venture, but after much urging, I she finally consented to take the course. Unfortunately, after taking only three lessons, Mrs. Borg had to enter the hospital for surgery and was unable to complete the course. Disappointed but undaunted, she was determined to continue typing with the knowledge she had al ready obtained. Mrs. Borg says, though she is far from being an expert at typing, she finds it to be one of her great test tame saving devices. By the use of carbon paper the five week ly general news letters are written at one time and the answers to the personal letters are added to each. However, there is also another way to keep contact with your fam ily that Ls away from home. She was married Saturday, June 25, to Marvin Vrooman, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Vrooman. Mr. and Mrs. Francis Boelter and Loren visited at the Donald Konori home at Niobrara Sunday. Mrs. Edna Boelter accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Francis Boelter to O’Neill Monday. Mrs. Ora Caskey and Mrs. Ralph Brookhouser called at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Faulhaber Tuesday. Mrs. Clarence McKee of Chicago came by plane to Omaha and ac companied her nephew, Leland Caskey and Bette Sukup of Omaha to the Ora Caskey home. Mrs. Leo Sukup called at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ora Caskey Thursday. Leo Sukup met his nephew, Jimmie Sukup, at Omaha Monday. He arrived there that day from his army post. Chambers News By Mrs. E. R. Carpenter Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Carpenter drove to Neiigh Sunday where they attended the annual reunion of her family held at Riverside Park. There were about 50 relatives at tending from Valentine, Atkinson, Chambers, Neiigh, Elgin, Plain view, Creighton, Norfolk, Tilden and Oakdale and Minneapolis Minn. WSCS MEETS Thirty-three officers of the WSCS of the Atkinson, Amelia and Cham bers Methodist churches met Fri day afternoon in the Chambers church for a training meeting. She retired this year from the Los Angeles public schools after teaching 85 years.
