DETAILS FOR THE FINAL COUNT
IN THE O'NEILL FRONTIER'S BIG PRIZE CAMPAIGN ENDING MAY 31

In order to maintain the utmost secrecy as to the number of subscriptions
and votes turned in by each candidate in this, the last week of The Frontier s
campaign, the race is being brought to a close under a sealed ballot box
system.
No subscription whatever will be accepted through the Campaign Office
this last week of this campaign, but instead, candidates themselves will deposit
their final collection in the SEALED BALLOT BOX,in sealed enevelopes. by
doing so, no one, not even the publisher or campaign management, can pos
sibly know the voting strength of the respective candidates this period, which
precludes any possibility of favortism and insures fairness to the minutest
degree.
The sealed ballot box will be available in the lobby of the Frontier office
from 7 P.M. to 9 P.M. Tuesday night, May 31st when the campaign will be
declared closed.
When the final hour arrives, the campaign will be declared closed. The
judges will break the seals and immediately thereafter, or as soon as the votes
can be issued on the subscriptions contained therein, the last vote count will
begin. The winners will be determined by merely adding the vote totals and
those contained in the ballot box.
It is expected to require some time to tabulate the reports in the ballot
lx)x to determine the winners. However, the official count will be completed
Tuesday night and the names of the winners and the number of votes of each
will be announced in Thursday’s Frontier.
HOW THE TERRITORY WILL BE DIVIDED
DISTRICT NO. 1—District number one consists of O’Neill and O’Neill
Routes. Two of the six major awards and three district prizes must be award
ed to candidates residing in this district.
DISTRICT NO. 2—District number two consists of the territory outside of
the above mentioned territory and inside of Holt county. Two of the six major
awards and three district prizes must be awarded to candidates residing in
this district.
DISTRICT NO. 3—District number three consists of the territory outside
of Holt county. Two of the pix major awards and three district prizes must be
awarded to candidates residing in this district.
f HOW THE PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED
■ The candidate with the greatest number of votes in the campaign regard
I less of district, will be awarded 5600 in cash.
1 Then the candidates residing in either of the other two districts with the
I greatest number of votes will be awarded 5500 in cash.
I Then the candidate residing in the district which has not been awarded a
I prize, with the highest number of votes will be awarded 5400 in cash.
I Then the candidate with the next highest vote total of the three districts,
I and who has not received a prize will be awarded 5300 in cash.
I Then the candidate residing in the other two districts with the next high
I est vote total and who has not been awarded a prize will receive the 5200 in
I cash.
I Then the candidate with the next highest vote standing and who has not
I received a prize in the district which has received only one prize will be award
I ed the 5100 in cash.
I Then the candidates with the next highest vote standing in each district
1 will be awarded 570 each.
1 Then the canddate with the next highest vote standing in each district
I will be awarded 560 each.
1 Then the candidate with the next highest number of votes in each district
I will be awarded 550 each.
■ All candidates will be paid 20% cash commission on all the money he or
I she turns in at the time it is received at the campaign office, but candidates
1 who are awarded cash awards must have the commission they have been paid
I count as part of the cash award.
ADVISORY BOARD
It has been the sincere desire of this newspaper to conduct
this drive from start to finish in a fair, honorable and impartial
manner. Every precaution has been taken to safeguard the in
terests of participants and absolute honesty in all dealings is
guaranteed. However, not all wisdom lies with one man or insti
tution; for that reason an Advisory Board was selected whose
function was to decide any question of sufficient moment that
might have arisen during the campaign, and from which a com
mittee shall be selected to act as judges and count the votes the
last night of the campaign.

All these gentlemen are well known to everyone in this locali
ty and their decision will be absolute and final, but all candidates
have the privilege of checking the count after the close of the
campaign, and see how the winning votes are acquired.
CANDIDATES ATTENTION!
Heretofore, candidates have had the privilege of reporting
subscriptions by phone as late as the closing hour of the various
vote reductions. This will not be permitted the last night of the
campaign.
All Votes and Subscriptions Must Be in the Sealed Box
When the Race Is Closed at 9 o’clock Central Standard
Time on Tuesday Night, May 31.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Make sure the stub and money check perfectly in the ballot
box and observe the rule printed elsewhere on this page, which
says in part: "PERSONAL CHECKS WILL POSITIVELY NOT
BE ACCEPTED IN THE BALLOT BOX FOR MORE THAN $7.00
DRAWN ON THE SAME PERSON.” All subscriptions deposited
in the sealed box must be accompanied by cash, or check, not to
exceed $7.00, drawn on the same person. This rule is made in
fairness to all candidates and will be strictly adhered to .
